Closures are a funky, artsy touch to your sarabook™. This package contains a metal belt buckle and 24” of flat gold elastic ribbon to close your book and decorate the cover. Here’s how to use it: Cut the elastic in half. Form two 12" loops by tying the ends of each half together. With the two closure pieces overlapping, secure a loop to each side of the buckle. Then slip the loops around the book. It’s removable so you can slip it on and off.

For special touches and a flash of metallic gold, Sara uses gold brads and wire. Brads are great for attaching vellum to paper, accenting a pocket or corner, or embellishing a tag. And the wire can be wrapped around a word or quote or even coiled in the fiber binding. Of course, gold goes with everything—it’s a classic. Now you can get 30 mini brads, 12 regular brads and 3 feet of gold wire packaged together for a great little metal stash without a big price tag.
